Holy unwatchable tele-trash, Batman!
I'll just ignore the fact that this show is a plagiarized ripoff of the first episode of Fringe... Because that isn't even the worst part of the monstrously boring crapfest of a TV show.
From the start it feels extremely derivative, since Fringe did this exact thing years ago with a better looking and far less annoying blonde, and iZombie presented the same basic concept to us several months ago, and in a much more entertaining, and as sad as it is, believable format... And when your show seems less grounded in reality than an energy drink causing zombie-ism, you have some serious problems.
All of the 'technology' and explanations as to why Taylor Swift's autistic sister could go sit in a bathtub and see dead people's final memories are so far fetched that they become completely laughable... But you won't laugh...Because you'll be too afraid someone will hear you and mistakenly think you're actually enjoying this show, and then tell everyone they meet that you're a complete idiot.
I don't expect too much from a TV show... I know its entertainment, but when even my 8 year old cousin declares that "Brains don't work like that. This is stupid." it's a pretty good indication that there is something very wrong.
There isn't a shred of logic, believability, or common sense written into the script for this show... and even if you can ignore the absolutely mind-boggling lack of effort put into the script, it is impossible to ignore the blonde-sitting-in-a-tub-looking-intense-and-stating-the-obvious shots that are thrown in your face every ten minutes, or the bizarrely contrived set design and character behavior, or the moronic terminology such as "bounced" and "stitched" that gets unapologetically spewed at you like auditory vomit every 30 seconds.
There are so many weird, unnecessary and just straight stupid inconsistencies, actions, events, and conversations in this show that it would cause a person with OCD to turn their TV on and off 3 times, lock and unlock their front door 3 times, cross the street 3 times, and then run in front of a bus.
As bad as the show is, I hope that when it inevitably gets canceled, the actors find other acting jobs... They aren't terrible... The fault lies entirely with the writers and production staff... But this show is a giant unflushable turd. It stinks like hell, I can't stand seeing it, and I just want this crap to disappear.
